Our Story

Anthem School of Music LLC was founded in 2007 By Nathaniel A. Villarreal as Anthem Studios. In 2012 Anthem School of Music LLC opened its doors in the NW area of San Antonio. Since opening its doors, Anthem School of Music has trained several of San Antonio’s best guitarist placing in Guitar Wars a local top guitarist

Anthem is more than a school of rock or a music academy. Anthem School of Music is a destination that focuses and offers the development of performance and excellence. Academics, Arts and Athletics united by enriching the lives of every student through the power of music are what make Anthem School of Music a premier destination for parents looking to enhance their child’s potential.

Our Mission  

Anthem School of Music LLC provides quality Music Lessons in a unique school environment. Because we are very involved in the San Antonio, Leon Springs, Fair Oaks Ranch, and Boerne communities, we are able to provide our patrons with many difference performance locations. Anthem offers performances at venues that differ from the typical "recital" and instructors encourage all students to take advantage of these opportunities. What better way to showcase talent, commitment, and hard work than monthly performances? Anthem appreciates the individual personalities of each student and we have created a musical environment for those personalities to flourish. Every two weeks, progress reports are emailed to students and their families. By sending these bi-weekly reports, we are encouraging families to actively participate in their student's progress. Instructors also provide recaps of the lesson for parents after each lesson.

THE NAMM FOUNDATION AWARDED ANTHEM SCHOOL OF MUSIC THE 2016, 2017, and 2018 BEST COMMUNITIES FOR MUSIC EDUCATION AND SUPPORT MUSIC MERIT AWARD FOR OUR CONTINUED EXCELLENCE IN PROVIDING THE BEST MUSIC EDUCATION POSSIBLE. THERE WERE 2,500 DISTRICTS AND SCHOOLS IN THE NATION WHO SUBMITTED THEIR WORK FOR REVIEW. 476 SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND 118 INDIVIDUAL SCHOOLS WERE AWARDED - 6 TEXAS SCHOOLS, WITH 2 OF THOSE SCHOOLS IN SAN ANTONIO. WE ARE INCREDIBLY HONORED AND PROUD TO BE A PART OF THIS ESTEEMED COMMUNITY OF SCHOOLS IN THE NATION.
